The Trentino castles: diving into history

With its position between the Po Valley and Germanic lands, Trentino is dotted with castles that were built starting in the middle ages.

There are over 300 castles in our region. Some are in ruins, some can be seen but not visited, and others can be visited. This makes it one of the areas in Italy with the most historic remnants of this type.
